Fleximap Thailand includes 5 maps. The main maps cover North Thailand and South Thailand (1 : 1 800 000) in detail, with points of interest and general tourist information clearly marked to help you find your way. The detailed street maps of central Bangkok and Chiang Mai (1 : 18 000) help you to find your way around the two major cities, and there is also an overview map of southeast Asia (1: 50 000 000).
As well as making the map easy to fold and extra-durable, the laminated finish allows you to mark your itinerary on the map and then wipe it off afterwards.
To help you plan your trip and prioritise the must-see sights, Fleximap Thailand also includes a list – with descriptions and photographs – of 18 recommended sights across the country, divided by theme and linked to the mapping by numbered markers. There is also a handy information section with concise details on getting around Thailand, tourist offices, money, tipping, opening times, public holidays, telecommunications, emergency telephone numbers, and climate.
